Overview

As an Assembler Level 2 at Honeywell Aerospace, you will assemble, modify, rework, and repair electrical components and modules with precision and quality. This role is critical in supporting production goals and ensuring the reliability of Honeywell Aerospace’s electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, rework, and repair electrical components, subassemblies, and moderately complex modules using schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
• Ensure every build meets exacting standards by performing rework when needed.
• Verify producibility during initial assembly to ensure smooth production flow.
• Perform tasks from lower-level assembler roles and cross-train across other assembly positions.
• Execute manual die-attach using epoxy and solder to place small components while working under a microscope.
• Take on additional duties as needed to meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience working as an electronic assembler.
• Able to interpret and work with print and parts list, process sheets, and technical drawing packages.
• Able to use hand tools such as tweezers and scalpels.
• Able to work under a microscope for a minimum of 9 hours a day.
• Able to work with components which are a minimum of 5 mil square.
• Able to use measurement tools and devices such as scales and calipers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
