At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Nondestructive Test (NDT) Inspector - Magnetic Particle in Ridley Park, PA, to conduct Non-Destructive Testing on aerospace products using advanced methods.

Responsibilities

• Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.
• Develops procedures and processes.
• Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
• Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
• Provides feedback on adverse trends.
• Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
• Conducts certification preparation training and provides guidance to Trainees and Level I NDT certified personnel.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal, documented hours of NDT training/experience or military equivalent.
• Current or previous NDT certification in Magnetic Particle within the last 2 years.
• Experience in Magnetic Particle Bench Method.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Additional Information

• This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
• This is an hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement.
• Hourly Pay Range: $37.24 - $50.00
