Overview

Nemco Food Equipment is focused on manufacturing and delivering piece parts to assembly operations. The Spot Welder position involves working in a production environment with resistance welding and pem stud equipment, requiring productivity and quality adherence after training.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of resistance welder.
• Setup and operation of pem stud equipment.
• Identifying need for weld tip conditioning or having the ability to condition weld tips.

Requirements

• Ability to set up and operate metal finishing machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and to follow specific written instructions and procedures.
• Ability to keep workspace clean and organized.
• Experience as a machine operator in a production environment preferred.

Additional Information

• This is a 3rd shift position, starting on 1st shift for training lasting about 3 weeks.
• Work schedule is Sunday night – Friday morning (9:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.; 8-hour shift with a 20-minute paid lunch).
• Occasional overtime is required.
