Responsibilities

• Assemble doors, frames, and fixed frames based on provided designs using drills and other tools.
• Attach hardware and lock preparations as appropriate.
• Keep work area in a neat, safe, clean, hazard-free condition.
• Clean work area, tools, and equipment at the end of each day.
• Inspect products for any abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
• Work as part of a team.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and safely perform tasks.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Demonstrate a history of great work attendance.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency with the ability to advance in the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure required.
• Proficiency in operating machinery.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to use power tools.
• Previous custom door experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to push weights greater than 150 lbs. with a team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must have strong hand-eye coordination and be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager, and Ops Manager.

Additional Information

• Pay starting at $19.00 depending on experience.
• Quarterly Safety bonus opportunities.
• Shift Days and Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour lunch OT as required.
