Overview

The Electrical Test Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing various components while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Test hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics.
- Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
- Mount assembly components on panels or printed circuit boards and connect component lead wires.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
- Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform continuity tests on completed assemblies.
- Perform the assembly, startup, and function test of equipment systems.
- Troubleshoot systems, make necessary repairs, and correct system issues.
- Install and verify preferred software.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of assembly/mechanical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work at high levels, wearing a Fall Protection Harness when performing work above 4 feet.
