Overview

ERock is a leader in distributed energy, providing innovative backup generators to ensure customers never experience power outages. The company seeks a motivated Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team, focusing on mechanical and electrical assembly of generators.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a variety of hand tools for assembly tasks.
  • Perform periodic inspections to identify manufacturing needs.
  • Skilled assembly of ERock's generator sets.
  • Learn and utilize manufacturer specific software for troubleshooting.
  • Follow written instructions from work orders and engineered drawings.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on generators.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair tasks.
  • Work in potentially confined areas.
  • Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment.
  • Utilize current technology for communication and documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Technician.
  • Ability to interpret and follow blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to read and use measuring devices like micrometers and torque wrenches.
  • Attention to detail in performing work.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Must be able to be on feet for multiple hours a day.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant need to extend hands and arms in any direction.
  • Integrity in working efficiently with or without supervision.
