Overview

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a Millwright Helper for a jobsite in Baytown II, Texas. OPD is an engineering and construction company with expertise in the natural gas, natural gas liquids, and petrochemical industries, known for its integrity and efficiency in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Precision Millwrights with inspecting, moving, assembling, and setting equipment such as turbines, pumps, and compressors.
• Read blueprints, isometric drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Use industrial hand tools and power tools including grinders, lathes, and torque wrenches.
• Work with high complex precision machines including ball mills, turbines, and hydraulic systems.
• Use precision leveling and alignment tools to measure angles and material thickness.

Requirements

• 6 months previous experience working in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to travel and work extended periods away from home.
• Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.
• Must be able to attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Must meet all physical requirements.
