Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Power based in Pearland, TX, to provide maintenance and repairs for power generation equipment, ensuring continuous service for various customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and occasionally at customer locations.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective kW requirements and reading schematics.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.

• Availability to work the assigned schedule and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
