Overview

We're looking for an experienced CNC Plasma Operator to join our manufacturing team in Houston, TX. If you have extensive experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment from setup to production and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage CNC plasma cutting machines independently.
• Set up, program (if required), and run production jobs.
• Load and unload steel plates and materials safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
• Perform machine calibration, tool changes, and routine maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines.
• Must be able to operate the entire machine independently, including setup, operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of fabrication shop safety practices.
• Ability to lift materials and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
