Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform high skill level work with complex schematics, drawings, and assembly blueprints.
- Use a variety of hand tools for soldering, wiring, and crimping.
- Be responsible for final assembly or production build-up of complete units.
- Perform troubleshooting and rework of production items.
- Review and verify shop packet material for completeness.
- Make minor procedural decisions in fitting and soldering.
- Plan work sequences and determine workability of completed items.
- Verify completion of work and sign off on shop traveler.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to understand and complete assigned paperwork.
- Ability to follow verbal, written, or diagram instructions.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
- Prior experience in manufacturing and certified soldering.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be safety oriented.
- Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
- H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years of related experience and/or training.
