Overview

At Boeing, Millennium Space Systems is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space. As an Avionics & Harness Technician B, you will assist in the fabrication of harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies, requiring the ability to work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Wire harnesses assembly per NASA.STD.8739.4A
• Use harness related tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, and hot tweezers
• Test wire harnesses with equipment such as high potential testers and multimeters
• Assemble electrical ground support equipment
• Set up test equipment
• Perform second party verifications and visually inspect harness assemblies
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications
• Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair
• Meet necessary certification as required
• Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or Trade School training
• Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which U.S. Citizenship is required
