Overview
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Electronics/Electro-Mech Assembler to build high-performance RF/Microwave interconnect solutions. The company provides enabling technologies for various industrial growth markets, emphasizing advanced technology and high reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under close supervision.
- Assemble units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and PC boards.
- Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot air techniques.
- Install and remove discrete components on printed circuit assemblies.
- Assemble connectors, perform interface gage measurements, and shrink marker sleeves and strain reliefs.
- Check mechanical length of cables and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Read and interpret documents and drawings accurately.
- Lift and move parts, bins, and boxes as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Soldering experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification (preferred).
- Basic math skills and 1–2 years of related experience (preferred).
- Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).
