Responsibilities

  • Perform basic printed circuit board assembly, rework, and modification.
  • Follow and use Work Instructions and Procedures.
  • Assemble products of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Conduct visual inspections of own assembly work.
  • Maintain good housekeeping, safety, security, and adherence to Department policies and procedures.
  • Stay organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Utilize various types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes and soldering irons.
  • Sit at a microscope for extended periods.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and quality personnel.
  • Possess basic computer skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated printed circuit board assembly experience, including soldering of surface mount, through-hole, and wire technology.
  • U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
  • Complete IPC certification within 3 months of hire or have current certification.
  • Knowledge of basic electronics is a plus.
