Responsibilities
- Perform basic printed circuit board assembly, rework, and modification.
- Follow and use Work Instructions and Procedures.
- Assemble products of varying degrees of complexity.
- Conduct visual inspections of own assembly work.
- Maintain good housekeeping, safety, security, and adherence to Department policies and procedures.
- Stay organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Utilize various types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes and soldering irons.
- Sit at a microscope for extended periods.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and quality personnel.
- Possess basic computer skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated printed circuit board assembly experience, including soldering of surface mount, through-hole, and wire technology.
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
- Complete IPC certification within 3 months of hire or have current certification.
- Knowledge of basic electronics is a plus.
