Overview

RCA Ambulance is seeking experienced automotive professionals for their maintenance and repair shop in Brooklyn, specifically for preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on RCA gas vehicles, including ambulances and response vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on company fleet vehicles.
• Performing preventative maintenance in a timely manner to reduce breakdowns and costs.
• Updating managers of concerns and potential problems with employees or equipment.
• Informing operations of any equipment that needs to be restocked or replaced.
• Maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude with co-workers, departments, and clients.
• Reporting to work at the appointed hour and working the entire assigned schedule.
• Being accountable for all work within the assigned job.
• Enhancing the operations department's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Auto repair/maintenance experience with gas vehicles.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have four years of driving experience.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Experience with Ford E250, E350, and Transit trucks is a plus.
• Experience with emergency vehicles is a plus.
