Overview
The Customer Service Maintenance Technician role at Linde involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing cryogenic systems while providing support across Northern and Central Georgia, particularly in the Greater Atlanta area. Responsibilities
- Use Microsoft Office applications and handheld data-entry devices.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Travel daily throughout assigned territory with occasional overnight travel.
- Safely operate a company service vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Independently plan, prioritize, and manage daily and weekly workloads.
- Provide remote support coverage for Northern and Central Georgia.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and materials documentation.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair cryogenic systems.
- Perform pipefitting, system installation, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Service and diagnose various valves and pressure relief devices.
- Complete required technical training and certification programs.
- Support and promote a strong safety culture while collaborating as part of a team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, installation, or repair of mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with Microsoft Office and job-related technology.
- Ability to quickly learn new software, equipment, and maintenance systems.
- Refrigeration, HVAC, or cryogenic systems experience preferred but not required.
- Welding and/or brazing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
