Overview

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This role involves drone maintenance and routine service to ensure safe operation and compliance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.).
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
• Can work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions.
• Can show a demonstrated record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

• The starting pay for this position is $21.00 - $44.00 USD hourly.
