Overview

Responsibilities
- Weld in all positions using stick, tig, mig, and Flux Core.
- Work with carbon steel, stainless, and exotic materials.
- Layout, install, and repair all types of pipe or similar tubular products.
- Plan, layout, install, test, and repair piping systems including relief valves.
- Use appropriate hand and power tools for measuring, cutting, assembling, welding, and installing pipes.
- Utilize pipe fitting techniques for different types of piping systems.
- Follow job site safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
- Read and understand isometric and orthographic drawings.
- Participate in audits, investigations, and quality efforts.
- Complete all safety training as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members and assist others as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 10 years of pipefitter/welder experience or completion of a 5-year apprenticeship required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Effective oral, written, and computer communication skills.
- Knowledge of gaskets and wrench to bolt sizes.
- Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights.
- Must be able to work overtime and respond to callouts.
