Overview

Manufacturing Operations is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic for their Pascagoula, Mississippi location. The position requires candidates to complete a formal training program within three years to become skilled in fabrication, with opportunities for early completion based on competency.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand basic piping isometrics and equipment drawings.
• Perform basic structural fitting and welding techniques.
• Perform basic pipe fitting and welding techniques.
• Conduct basic boiler maker duties including isolation and repair of various systems.
• Execute basic rigging and crane signaling techniques for heavy lifting.
• Complete incidental craft work such as fabrication and machinery.
• Organize, plan, and execute daily work assignments.
• Follow safe work practices and demonstrate safe work behaviors.
• Collaborate with other functional departments like Reliability, Operations, and Engineering.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Basic computer skills.
• 2 years of fabrication craft work experience.
