Worley is a global company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, headquartered in Australia. The Pipefitter position involves laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated parts as part of various projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISO’s, filed installations, material takeoffs, and field sketches.
• Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, and stainless steel weld pipe.
• Miter and fabricate all pipe.
• Install valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers, and supports.
• Perform steam and heat tracing.
• Use a beveling machine.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs.
• Perform minor valve maintenance and repair.
• Test piping systems.
• Use oxygen and acetylene cutting.
• Perform basic rigging.
• Operate pneumatic and electric tools.
• Leak test tubing systems.
• Additional responsibilities may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
