Overview

Linde Inc. is seeking a Production Technician in East Chicago, IN, to operate and control process units and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining communication with customers and facility management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control process units and equipment in the field and from the control station.
• Monitor plant performance for efficiency and proactively identify issues.
• Coordinate work requests, permits, and equipment isolations.
• Provide front-line communication regarding product and process conditions.
• Maintain production records and implement standard operating procedures.
• Exercise sound judgment in process decisions and contribute to improving procedures.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to personal safety and environmental accountability.
• Knowledgeable in emergency procedures and safety initiatives.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities.
• Meet physical requirements including confined space entry and lifting up to fifty pounds.
• Flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call-in coverage.
