Overview

Austin Industrial is a leading provider of maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to industrial companies across the U.S. The Scaffold Builder Leadman will supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding and other temporary structures.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on installation.
• Oversee transport of scaffolding materials and erect as instructed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials to erect temporary structures.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to permanent structures for stability.
• Adhere to OSHA and site-specific requirements for scaffolding.
• Supervise the dismantling of scaffolding when communicated.
• Inspect and stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• TWIC Card.
