Overview

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance duties for commercial equipment in Walmart stores. The role involves developing maintenance schedules and training Store Associates on equipment care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and food equipment.
  • Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
  • Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by providing required written and electronic information.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in maintenance.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
  • Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 5 years' experience in the same.
