Overview

Justrite Safety Group is a growing family of industrial safety companies that protect workers, workplaces, and the environment with a comprehensive range of industrial safety solutions. US Chemical Storage, part of this group, is seeking a Welder to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage buildings.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read blueprints and drawings to ensure quality and accurate welds.
• Use hand tools including MIG welders, plasma cutters, grinders, hammers, drills, saws, and more.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on welding machines.
• Complete inspections and conduct repairs as needed.
• Work on top of ladders and roofs of building structures.

Requirements

• Great attitude and willingness to grow with the company.
• Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members.
• Minimum of 2 years experience welding Hot Roll Mild Steel, Galvanized and Structural steel preferred.
• Ability to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of measurements using a tape measure.
