Overview

National Wall Panels (NWP) is a manufacturer and installer of light gauge cold-formed steel load-bearing wall panels. The Welder role at NWP is a full-time, on-site position based in Red Hill, PA, where the Welder will perform daily welding operations on structural components, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily welding operations on structural components.
• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Prepare and fit materials for welding.
• Complete welds that meet company and industry quality standards.
• Inspect welds for quality assurance.
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Work safely in a fabrication environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
• Support continuous improvement in fabrication processes.

Requirements

• Strong welding skills with a MIG background preferred.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in MIG Welding techniques for structural and light gauge steel applications.
• Knowledge of materials used in structural steel and cold-formed systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, measuring devices, and welding fixtures accurately.
• Understanding of shop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
• Previous experience in structural steel or panel fabrication preferred.
• Vocational training or certification in welding is beneficial.
• Capability to lift and move materials as required and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork and communication skills.
