Overview

L3Harris is seeking an Assembly C position in Gardena, CA, focused on Electro-Mechanical and Magnetic assembly work. The role involves simple to semi-complex tasks under supervision, contributing to defense technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Electro-Mechanical parts and perform inner chassis wiring connections using various tools.
• Assemble Magnetic assemblies through all stages of the process, from core and coil assembly to final assembly.
• Understand standard hardware installation sequence.
• Read hardware descriptions on Engineering BOM and physically identify the characteristics of the hardware.
• Pass soldering test and be certified ANSI-J-STD-001 as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience assembling electro/mechanical hardware, preferably to military requirements and specifications.
• Able to pass soldering test and be certified ANSI-J-STD-001 and/or IPC610 as required.
