Overview

This position is for a Mid-Level Structural Engineer at Sargent & Lundy, which supports utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, and other power and infrastructure projects. The role involves performing structural engineering reviews and analyses to assist in the development and financing of renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering reviews.
• Prepare structural design specifications.
• Advise power project developers on utility-scale projects.
• Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently.
• Develop technical reports for various audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering with a structural specialty.
• Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or business is a plus.
• 5+ years of detailed structural design experience.
• 3+ years of experience in structural design specific to power generation or distribution.
• Experience in writing support documentation for Structural Engineering specifications.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
