Overview

Tropicana Brands Group is a $3B startup formed in 2022 as a joint venture between PAI Partners and PepsiCo, aiming to revolutionize the beverage category. They are looking for a Fleet Mechanic to support their Supply Chain team by maintaining their Private Fleet of refrigerated tractor trailers and other site vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Private Fleet of refrigerated tractor trailers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Complete routine PMIs and repairs on various vehicles including diesel tractors and electric forklifts.
• Fuel tractors and refrigerated trailers when necessary.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot tractor engine and transmission faults.
• Operate snowplows and salters during inclement weather.
• Prioritize and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment.

Requirements

• 2-3 years' experience in the fleet maintenance industry.
• Familiarity with DOT PMI regulations and procedures.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Effective communication skills with other fleet mechanics and site management.

Additional Information

• Must be located in the Jersey City, NJ surrounding area or willing to relocate.
• Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work shift work and mid-week overtime and weekends as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
