Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry and concrete tasks on construction projects.
• Utilize a variety of tools and specialized equipment.
• Set forms for concrete including foundations and bulkheads.
• Place concrete using buckets, chutes, and pumps.
• Finish concrete using floats and trowels.
• Clean and maintain concrete and forming tools.
• Install in-wall and roof blocking and general carpentry.
• Erect temporary partitions and doors.
• Assist in the installation of doors, frames, and hardware.
• Ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and OSHA standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Apprentice and/or Vocational/Technical/Trade training preferred.
• 0-2 years experience in specific trade preferred.
• 0-2 years commercial construction experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all concrete tools and carpentry hand tools.
• Basic understanding of layout and construction math.
• Ability to perform work accurately and completely.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of specific trades and scopes of work.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
