Overview

Archer Western Construction, LLC is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the Central Water Region/South Mesquite RWWTP Bid#12 in Mesquite, Texas. The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects, and may operate hand and/or power tools as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
  • Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills and hammers
  • Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding and removing debris
  • Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable experience preferred
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
