Overview

At RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, you will work as a Generalist in Grand Prairie, TX, primarily preparing surface prep and repair operations on aero-engine turbine airfoil components. This role is essential to the development of our engines and requires a U.S. Person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of surface prep and repair operations on aero-engine turbine airfoil components.
• Perform grit blasting, masking, blending, and other routine tasks.
• Assist in the development of other team members.
• Perform any aspect of this role in assigned area to improve personal development.
• Complete tasks at the highest level of safety awareness.
• Craft clear communication.
• Utilize analytical skills and creative troubleshooting skills.
• Exhibit excellent judgment and professional maturity.
• Maintain positive relationships and possess extraordinary people and social skills.

Requirements

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
