Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of concrete construction, including site preparation and pouring concrete.
• Set and strip forms for concrete structures.
• Place reinforcement and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and other structures.
• Load and unload materials and operate basic tools and equipment.
• Help guide ready-mix deliveries and maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Follow directions from crew leaders and adhere to safety procedures and project timelines.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.

Requirements

• Ability to perform concrete formwork and basic carpentry tasks.
• Experience or familiarity with heavy equipment used in excavation and concrete work.
• Skills in concrete flatwork, including placing, screeding, finishing, and curing slabs.
• Knowledge of ready mix concrete handling and proper placement techniques.
• Capacity to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
• Understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow safety policies.
• Ability to read or follow basic measurements and layout instructions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites and ability to work standard construction hours.
