Overview

KMA Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Structural/Bridge Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join their Bridges and Structures Department in Cherry Hill, NJ. The candidate will assist in bridge and geotechnical designs for transportation engineering projects, performing technical analyses, writing reports, and preparing contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
• Prepare project quantity and cost estimates
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
• Help check work of project team members including subconsultants

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university/program
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
• Familiarity with CADD software platforms: Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD design methodology and DOT design requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Information

• Occasional need to drive/travel to work sites, mostly day travel within NJ with the possibility for some overnight travel to adjoining states
• Must have a valid driver’s license
