Overview
The Service Welder III at Ring Power Corporation is responsible for conducting welding tasks safely and efficiently, maintaining tools, and ensuring high-quality repairs on machine components. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to safety standards within a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to safety and environmental policies.
- Maintain a minimum set of tools for disassembling and assembling machine components.
- Attend and complete required technician training classes.
- Prepare parts for welding and perform appropriate welding as needed.
- Work in an orderly fashion and seek improvements in work methods and safety standards.
- Research repair needs and order parts as necessary.
- Document repairs performed on equipment using appropriate software.
- Maintain a positive attitude and support team efforts.
- Assist in maintaining facility appearance and shop conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6 months or less of experience.
- Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively.
- Completion of required training curriculum for Service Welder III designation.
- Thorough knowledge of safety requirements for welding and cutting.
- Knowledge of carbon air arc metal removal safety procedures.
- Post high school trade school education is desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant dealer software is preferred.
- 3g and 4G SMAW & FCAW certifications are highly desired.
