Responsibilities

• Weld various metals using processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW.
• Select, set up, and stage the proper equipment for welding jobs.
• Double check the fit of pipe or structural pieces for proper attachment.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards in the work area.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, weld, and install piping systems.
• Produce quality work that meets industry standards and specifications.

Requirements

• Industrial Combo welding experience with GTAW and SMAW.
• Must pass GTAW & SMAW manual welding procedures test.
• Current Basic Orientation Plus (Safety Council Card) or within 3 months expiration.
• Current TWIC card.
• Three or more years of experience in welding.
• Compliance with designated welding procedures and specifications.
• Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
