Overview

We function as a recruiting partner to several companies in the Midwest, focusing on reliability, faith, and integrity. Our partner designs and manufactures heavy haul semi-trailers in Northeast Iowa, committed to building durable, specialized open deck semi-trailers. This job involves assembling and welding components required to build large steel trailers.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project.
• Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
• Manufacture products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.
• Check finished work to ensure it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Lift and carry heavy items and move components by operating an overhead crane.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.

Requirements

• Welding experience of 1 year (preferred).
