Overview

Aegis is partnering with a local manufacturing company in the Greater Chicago Area to find a Mig Welder. This opportunity comes during a massive plant expansion, offering a collaborative work environment and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities

  • MIG weld sheet metal and structural components used in large, custom-built industrial enclosures.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Fit components together with close attention to detail and dimensional tolerances.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of fabrication or MIG welding experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Comfortable operating an overhead crane or a forklift.
  • TIG welding is a bonus.
