Overview

The Assembly Worker position involves performing various operations such as wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing on company products. The role requires working from engineering specifications and drawings to ensure proper function and efficiency of the assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing operations on company products.
• Work from engineering specifications, sketches, schematic diagrams, verbal instructions, or detailed assembly drawings.
• Set-up and arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies.
• Use prints and wiring charts to perform various operations.
• Utilize miscellaneous assembly tools, A.C. welder, and electrical measuring and test equipment.
• Recondition used dryers by applying judgment on work and replacement parts.
• Troubleshoot problems and provide recommendations for customer inquiries.
• Inspect parts and maintain quality control.
• Maintain necessary records and perform inventory control duties.
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as required or directed.
