Overview

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Journeyman Millwright for their Camas, Washington location, offering a starting pay of $44.71-$46.43/hour DOE, plus shift differentials and a sign-on bonus. The role involves performing industrial maintenance tasks in a team environment at a facility that manufactures enMotion® products.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on all types of Industrial Equipment
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Assist crew members working in a team environment
• Keep work area clean before, after, and throughout shift
• Maintain all safety guards on equipment and follow all lock out/tag out procedures
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy, and high-volume environment
• Support a safe working environment by maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years or more of Industrial maintenance mechanical experience
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

• Location: Camas, Washington
• Starting pay range: $44.71-$46.43/hour DOE
• Shift differentials: $1.50/hour for Swing Shift and $3.00/hour for Graveyard Shift
• $3000 sign-on bonus paid after 120 days
