Overview

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Certified Welding Inspector for their Clatskanie, OR location, offering a starting pay of $55.42/hour along with a generous benefits package. The facility is a high-speed manufacturer of various tissue and paper products.

Responsibilities

• Generate, distribute, and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Perform QA/QC of all contractor work on and off-site.
• Train and develop mill employees on safe and quality welding processes.
• Stay current with emerging technology and certifications.
• Manage contractors, including developing work scopes and writing contracts.
• Support work order planning and BOM development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with computers.
• Certified Welding Inspector Certification (CWI) with 2 years of inspection experience.
• Experience training/mentoring other craft employees.
