Overview

The Pipe Foreman at Industrial Service and Installation (ISI), Inc. is responsible for providing support during active projects in the food and beverage sector. This role requires a strong mechanical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment at customer sites.
• Assist with planning and tracking of job-related activities.
• Direct a group of millwrights, pipe fitters/welders, and other crew members.
• Interact with management, employees, and customers in a professional and positive manner.
• Determine parts, supplies, tools, and equipment needs, place orders, and organize in advance of production needs.
• Research and compile information and provide reports as needed.
• Ensure all paperwork and timesheets are complete, accurate, and submitted on a timely basis.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe worksite.
• Ensure organized return of all project-related tools and equipment when projects end.
• Ensure the security of all ISI property and tools.
• Weld and fabricate proficiently.
• Work within precise limits and at heights.
• Travel out-of-town for extended periods of time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 5 - 7 years of foreman experience.
• 10 plus years of experience in process/sanitation piping.
• Current valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
• Ability to pass a DOT test.
• Ability to pass a 6g sanitary tube and pipe tig test.
• Ability to pass a pipefitter test.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to do strenuous work in extreme temperatures.
• Pipefitting and pipe welding skills.
• Provide your own hand tools.

Additional Information

• Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery.
• Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines.
