Overview

The Manual/OEM/Robotic Welder position at SEEK Careers/Staffing involves operating welding machines or industrial robots to fabricate metal parts or assemblies. This full-time role is based in West Bend, WI, and offers an immediate start with a pay range of $18–$28 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lift work pieces manually or using a hoist and secure work pieces in fixtures or load automatic feeding devices.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machine factors such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.
• Start machine, engage feed, and observe operation.
• Inspect and measure welded work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Adjust machine controls and guides as needed.
• Unload welded frames from robotic welder and place in appropriate containers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FANUC Robotic Certification preferred.
• Certificate or degree in welding preferred.
• At least one year of welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
