Overview

This position is for a level 2 Welder responsible for fabrication and timely production of parts, including MIG welding, grinding, and assembly of skids and tanks. The role requires accurate measurement and maintenance of equipment to produce steel parts satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding, tack up, grinding, and cleaning.
  • Assemble skids and tanks.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials on different machines.
  • Clean slag, burrs, weld spatter, and repair material discontinuities.
  • Maintain equipment and tools provided by PowerSecure.

Requirements

  • 1 year work experience.
  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16”.
  • Basic ability to interpret sketches and blueprints.
  • Proficient with hand tools such as angle grinders and drills.
  • Successfully complete the onboarding training program.
