Overview

AW Welding specializes in custom welding, fabrication, installation, and repair work for the sawmill industry. The Welder/Fabricator role involves working on diverse projects and collaborating with a small team dedicated to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom components and sawmill equipment using MIG, Stick, and other welding processes.
• Install new equipment and complete repairs at customer locations.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, measurements, and work orders.
• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Travel primarily to local customer job sites, with occasional travel throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites using company vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Represent AW Welding with professionalism and quality workmanship.

Requirements

• At least one year of welding or fabrication experience.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings or blueprints (preferred).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willing to obtain a DOT physical if needed.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and performing various physical tasks.
• Team-oriented and able to work alongside others.
