Overview

The Welder B sets up and operates welding equipment, reviews drawings, and leads welders to ensure quality production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Weld ferrous and non-ferrous materials (MIG/TIG/Stick)
• Set up jobs, tools, and materials; fabricate jigs/fixtures as needed
• Lead and train welders on quality and production methods
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Work independently to complete assignments and meet production standards
