Overview
The Welder position is responsible for adjusting welder settings, working from blueprints, and ensuring quality welds in a production setting. The company emphasizes employee wellbeing and offers a variety of benefits to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Adjust welder settings based on metallurgical properties of metal used in blueprint to ensure quality welds.
- Work from blueprints to set up and weld parts using appropriate fixtures.
- Operate hand grinders as needed.
- Visually inspect work and fixturing on an ongoing basis to check quality standards and the appearance of the product.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 70lbs.
- 1-year experience MIG Welding in a Production setting.
- Ability to read and follow welding symbols on blueprints.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a cooperative manner to support a team environment.
