Overview

Valmont is a Fortune 1000 company that impacts millions globally by advancing agricultural productivity and reimagining vital infrastructure. They are seeking an Experienced Welder to perform high-quality welding operations in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding equipment.
• Read and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper blueprint specifications.
• Operate grinding and burning equipment.
• Accurately use measuring devices such as a tape measure.
• Perform minor welding machine maintenance.
• Use labor reporting system and fill out necessary paperwork.
• Provide accurate accounting of labor and parts produced.
• Participate and lead team functions and projects.
• Collaborate with management and communicate effectively.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Utilize safety devices and wear mandatory personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of welding experience.
• Pass the level B welding capability test.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• 1 year of hands-on welding experience in a professional environment or 3 years of non-professional welding experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• High awareness of safety at all times.

• Day Shift: Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Night Shift: Monday-Friday from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am
