Overview

Valmont is a Fortune 1000 company that focuses on advancing agricultural productivity and reimagining vital infrastructure. The Robotic Welder position involves operating welding equipment to weld steel components, ensuring quality, and adhering to safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the Moto Cell to weld steel square tubes and components.
  • Load steel shafts into the machine and monitor the quality of incoming materials.
  • Perform GMAW (MIG) welding and adjust welding equipment settings.
  • Utilize IFS labor reporting system and read blueprints for welding tasks.
  • Participate in department LEAN activities and demonstrate commitment to safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years welding experience.
  • Must pass welder level 3 assessment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Certification in MIG welding to meet AWS requirements.
