Responsibilities

• Performing oxygen and acetylene torch operations and welding on pressure vessels, piping components, valves, and structural steel.
• Ability to perform GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and brazing on pressure and non-pressure components.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years welding experience with piping and pressure vessels.
• Ability to perform GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and brazing on pressure and non-pressure components.
• Must successfully pass the Dominion Generation pre-employment welding test.
• May be subject to extreme temperatures both hot and cold.
• Must be comfortable working at heights that may exceed 100 feet.
• Must be or be able to become respirator qualified.
• Power station welding experience and pipefitting experience preferred.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Information

• Typical work schedule is 06:00 – 14:30.
• Availability required to work overtime and night shift when needed.
• Some travel may be required to support other station outages.
