Position Title: MIG Welder Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Shift: 1st Hours: 06:00 am - 02:00 pm Monday - Friday OT at end of shift as needed. MIG Welder Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and welding specifications. - Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel components, including tubing, pipe, and fabricated assemblies. - Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts according to engineering drawings and production requirements. - Produce consistent, high-quality welds that meet company and customer specifications. - Inspect completed welds and assemblies for accuracy, strength, and quality. - Operate pneumatic tools, grinders, and general hand tools safely and efficiently. - Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances. - Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures and quality standards. - Meet daily production goals while maintaining workmanship standards. Requirements for MIG Welder: - High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required. - 1–5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. - Ability to successfully pass a welding test. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings. - Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to perform repetitive hand and eye coordination tasks throughout the shift. - Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout an 8-hour shift. - Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding equipment.
