<p>The TIG Welder / Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, modifying, repairing, and installing precision metal components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong TIG welding and fabrication skills, the ability to interpret blueprints and perform layout work, and a commitment to producing high-quality work while working safely and independently.<span aria-hidden="true"> </span></p> <h2 data-section-id="18w7bso">Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="1qmr26u">Fabricate precision parts and assemblies from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.</li> <li data-section-id="ljrbjb">Perform TIG welding, fabrication, and repair of machinery and equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="ntw5jx">Repair manufacturing equipment as needed to support plant operations.</li> <li data-section-id="1r8lmi0">Install fabricated components and assemblies throughout the facility.</li> <li data-section-id="m4nus4">Perform sheet metal layout, bend allowance calculations, and operate brake and shear equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="1puglii">Set up and operate cutting, forming, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.</li> <li data-section-id="6rusw3">Read and interpret blueprints to complete fabrication projects accurately.</li> <li data-section-id="g250r4">Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.</li> <li data-section-id="10o0xoe">Follow all company safety policies and procedures.</li> <li data-section-id="1kny0aw">Support departmental KPI goals through quality workmanship and productivity.</li> <li data-section-id="4b3r3r">Demonstrate company core values in daily work and interactions.</li> <li data-section-id="1bp6whj">Perform additional fabrication and welding duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <h2 data-section-id="1qhoq10">Core Skills / Competencies</h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="ebkjo7">Strong TIG welding skills.</li> <li data-section-id="6fkgwx">Proficiency with stick welding.</li> <li data-section-id="9xgrit">Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.</li> <li data-section-id="14g15yn">Experience performing layout work for fabrication projects.</li> <li data-section-id="o3ezco">Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, including bend allowances.</li> <li data-section-id="wcwq0b">Ability to operate cutting, forming, braking, shearing, and welding equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="1fhe87i">Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards.</li> <li data-section-id="f0cr5f">Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.</li> <li data-section-id="2cm3s8">Team-oriented with excellent work ethic.</li> </ul> <h2 data-section-id="irasn1">Preferred Experience / Requirements</h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="107ijec">1&ndash;2 years of TIG welding experience required.</li> <li data-section-id="pgtqis">Experience in industrial fabrication and equipment repair.</li> <li data-section-id="127kzkp">Experience with sheet metal fabrication processes.</li> <li data-section-id="1hprug5">Ability to safely set up and operate fabrication equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="dj1m8r">Ability to lift, move, and handle fabrication materials as required.</li> <li data-section-id="811j0g">Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li> </ul> <h2 data-section-id="1xnuqv2">Plant Safety</h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="1bxo40">Follows all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.</li> <li data-section-id="17ciwd5">Performs all work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.</li> </ul> <h2 data-section-id="1sl7s3f">Food Safety</h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="1lcjt2y">Follows all company and USDA food safety rules, policies, and procedures.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Agency Statement: </strong></p> <p><em>Clemens Food Group does not accept unsolicited resumes from search or staffing firms.
